Steffy argued that she made the right business call on The Bold and the Beautiful. Hope for the Future got shelved. Again. Forrester Creations will pour its resources into couture. But Hope feels this decision was personal.

Key Takeaways

  • Steffy informed Hope that HFTF was on hold again.
  • Hope wanted a timeline for the relaunch, which has been months in the making.
  • Steffy argues that it’s just business, while Hope feels personally slighted.

Steffy Backs Her Business Decision

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) told Hope (Annika Noelle) that Hope for the Future is on the back burner once again. They want to pour their resources into couture, especially with Eric (John McCook) back at the helm. They want to honor his work.

Hope didn’t take this news too well. She wanted a timeline for the relaunch of her line, which is ready to go. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Zende (Delon de Metz) have worked hard on it and have been waiting for the green light.

Steffy claims it was a business decision, and she backs it. Hope for the Future isn’t their biggest seller right now. Previous reports showed that numbers declined and interest has waned. But even with Thomas back at the helm, Steffy feels it’s necessary to put all of their efforts into couture.

Hope Claims It’s Personal

Hope wanted a timeline for her collection, which she claimed is a moneymaker. She doesn’t feel valued at Forrester Creations. If she doesn’t get the answer she’s looking for, she could end up leaving Forrester for Logan.

Hope feels that this business decision was personal. She claims that Steffy loves to boss her around and wants to see her fail. While Hope understands that priorities have shifted, she still wants a date for her line. She has a feeling that it will never see the light of day.

Who’s in the Right?

It’s not entirely Steffy’s decision. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was the one who suggested they reestablish a couture line featuring Eric at Forrester Creations. He came up with the idea after Eric’s designs were featured at Logan’s debut runway show.

Steffy heeded her father’s advice and made adjustments. She previously agreed to Hope for the Future returning. She just doesn’t feel the timing is right, especially with all that’s gone on.

Hope is lucky to still be working at Forrester Creations after the coup. However, Steffy and Hope will never admit that they both make things personal in their work relationship.
